Attention Applicants!
Thank you for your interest in applying to our apprenticeship program. We are currently in the process of transitioning our apprentice application and selection process. This transition should be complete soon.
In the meantime, you should gather documentation to support your past experience in the following areas: Education and training, Work experience, Military Experience, and any relevant letters of recommendation. Note that if you cannot document your experience in the noted areas you will not receive credit. A list of the required documentation by area are listed below:
- Education: Transcripts (do not need to be official), certificates for any relevant certificate programs (e.g., helmets to hardhats), and transcripts or certificates for any relevant vocational training courses
- Work experience: Documentation needs to demonstrate how many hours you have completed. Paystubs, W-2’s, or a letter from your employer can be used. Note that if you are using a W-2 to verify AND you have more than 1000 hours with that employer you must also provide at least one pay stub.
- Military: DD-214 or other documentation that defines your experience.
- Letters of Recommendation: Make sure that the person recommending you clearly defines their position and their affiliation with you.
To complete the process you will have to complete a personal experience form (with the sections described above) and an aptitude test designed to assess a wide range of abilities that are relevant to success in the apprenticeship program.
